This position will be in Northridge, CA, but can work out of Tucson, AZ.

Salary based on locations are:

• Northridge, CA: $110,300 – $165,500
• Tucson, AZ: $95,300 – $142,900

• Develop and implement software for embedded devices and systems based on requirements.
• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle activities in an agile environment.
• Software requirements verification and validation.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years software development experience working on embedded real‑time systems or 3+ years with a master’s degree.
• Self‑starters and able to efficiently operate in a team environment.
• Experience with one or more software languages/technologies: C/C++, Java, Python, C#.
• Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance are required.
• Experience in embedded software development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance, United States citizenship is a prerequisite.
• A year or more of experience working in an Agile team.

• Experience with software version control tools such as Git.
• Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real‑time operating systems.
• Experience with embedded C++ optimization and using tools such as VxWorks.
• Hands on hardware integration and testing experience.
• Ability to debug complex integrated applications or test setup issues.
• Experience using Atlassian Tool Suite: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Sonar Qube.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 – $. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
