WorkOS builds tools and services for developers to help them implement authentication, identity, authorization, and overall enterprise readiness. We’re a fully distributed team with employees across North American time zones and are well‑funded with $100m in funding from top investors. Our fast‑growing customer base includes OpenAI, Cursor, Perplexity, Vercel, Plaid, and hundreds of others.

The Auth Kit team is responsible for building Auth Kit: a set of UI and APIs that enable B2B developers to solve identity and authentication. Our goal is to build the best possible developer and end‑user experiences so customers can onboard seamlessly and kick‑start their enterprise journey. We’re searching for engineers who love taking ideas from zero to one, creating beautiful software experiences with modern tools, and care deeply about creating the best possible products.

• Design and engineer delightful developer and end‑user experiences.
• Build a deep understanding of Auth Kit’s place in the market and increase its adoption.
• Accrete developer trust by serving a highly available and secure product.
• Speak with customers regularly to get feedback, debug issues, and remove points of friction.
• Collaborate with other product teams, solutions engineering, and our go‑to‑market team.
• Work directly with leadership on greenfield ideas.
• Help recruit and assess future engineering team members.

• 5+ years of industry software development experience.
• Experience working on small teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Background in crafting both polished UI/UX and API services end‑to‑end.
• Intellectually curious, independently driven, and passionate about great products.
• A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus:
  
  Experience with Type Script, React, and Postgre

The annual US base salary falls within the range of $175,000 to $250,000. This range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, and paid parental leave. Compensation is adjusted based on local market benchmarks for candidates outside the US, including Canada.
