As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology direction and delivering high‑quality software systems that power Re:
Build’s diverse engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable, cloud‑native systems
- Make strategic decisions regarding tech stack, system design, performance, and reliability
- Set and evolve the organization’s technical strategy
, including evaluating emerging technologies and driving innovation
- Establish and uphold engineering standard processes for code quality, security, performance, and scalability
- Conduct and mentor others through rigorous code reviews
, design sessions, and technical deep‑dives - Author high‑quality technical documentation, design specs, and architecture diagrams
- Develop and maintain high‑quality, efficient, well‑tested code for critically important components
- Work across multiple languages and frameworks depending on project needs (primarily C#, React/JavaScript)
- Build and deploy modern applications using serverless and containerized AWS services
, including Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Dynamo
DB, S3, API Gateway, and Step Functions - Design and deliver robust APIs (REST and Graph
QL)
- Lead or contribute to efforts that incorporate AI/ML, generative AI, intelligent automation, and AI‑assisted workflows
- Experience or strong interest in tools such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Lang Chain
