Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and enhancements to meet business and customer needs
• Support, redesign, and enhance existing functionality
• Develop for websites, databases, web services, and multi-tier systems
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant application
• Help build testing frameworks, unit tests, automated tests, and improve our software build system
• Write single page application architectural patterns
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Implementation automated testing platforms and unit tests
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Work in a collaborative, cross functional team in a relaxed, casual environment with other motivated developers, QA, Project Managers, Product Owners, and Customers
• Use tools like:
  Plastic, SQL Server 2008 R2, Restful web services, jQuery, AJAX

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Over 5 years experience developing large scale web applications in an agile environment as a full-stack developer
• Advanced proficiency with Java script
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it like Typescript and React
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Relational databases
• Understanding of security compliance
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
