We are hiring an AI Engineer on behalf of our client. This role involves designing, building, and deploying AI-powered applications and systems, including those leveraging large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. It's a great opportunity for someone passionate about applied AI who enjoys building real-world products that leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.
Role & responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and applications into production
- Build and integrate solutions using LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama, etc.) and Generative AI frameworks
- Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
, chatbots, and AI agents - Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific business use cases
- Design and implement prompt engineering strategies for optimal model performance
- Build APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into products
- Work with vector databases and embedding models for semantic search applications
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to define AI-driven features
- Monitor and improve model performance, latency, and cost efficiency
- 0 to 2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python (experience with Java/JavaScript a plus)
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (Lang Chain, Llama Index, Hugging Face)
- Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, etc.)
- Understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG architectures
- Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, ChromaDB)
- Experience with ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Knowledge of API development (REST/GraphQL) and microservices architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
