Senior Software Development Engineer

Salary: $216, per year
Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus three years of experience in the offered role or a software engineering-related occupation.
• At least three years of experience with COBOL and JCL on z/OS; SDSF; IBM DB2 schemas and SQL; SPUFI; BMC DB2 utilities; software design principles and patterns; REXX; dynamic programming and greedy algorithms; DFSORT and ICETOOL; legacy COBOL refactoring, debugging, and unit testing;
  Changeman; application testing and incremental integration; and Agile Scrum practices.
• At least one academic semester of graduate-level coursework or some experience with React, Redux, Angular, Type Script, and RESTful API integration, as well as Cypher and graph data modeling for Neo4j ETL pipelines.
• Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States is required if hired.

• Research, design, develop, update, and enhance software and specialized utility programs based on user needs and software engineering principles.
• Help integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications and performance requirements, and maintain application databases individually or with a team.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues by analyzing logs, monitoring job execution, and troubleshooting batch processing in real time.
• Collaborate on an Agile Scrum team, participate in its ceremonies, and work with product managers, UI designers, software architects, and other stakeholders to deliver incremental product enhancements.
• Take part in code and document reviews, continuous learning, and knowledge-sharing sessions as both a presenter and participant.
• Contribute to secure, scalable, maintainable software architecture and support products and services through an on-call rotation.
• Support database development and maintenance, including transaction processing and data integrity for loan and guarantee fund management systems.
