Software Developer, Backend Developer, Software Engineer

We're looking for a part-time Software Developer (approximately 10–20 hours/week, flexible) to build and maintain the software behind Formwell's products and internal tools. You'll write clean, maintainable code, ship features end-to-end, and help shape our technical direction.

• Build and maintain features across our web applications and internal tools
• Write, test, and deploy clean, well-documented code
• Debug issues and improve performance of existing systems
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
• Collaborate on technical decisions and product direction

• 2+ years of software development experience (professional or substantial personal projects)
• Comfort working independently — you can take a loosely defined problem and ship a solution
• Strong communication; you work well async and keep others in the loop
• Bonus: experience with databases, cloud hosting (AWS/Vercel/etc.), or automation

• Part-time, ~10–20 hours/week with flexible scheduling
• Fully remote
• Contract to start, with potential to grow with the company
