Immediate and Fully Remote opening for a HR Integration Engineer strong REST/SOAP API expertise and experience developing complex HR integrations across enterprise platforms.
This is a technical engineering role, not a functional HRIS, project management, or Workday Studio-only position.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and support Workday HR integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot XML payloads, API requests/responses, authentication, and security configurations.
- Work with Workday data models, Business Processes, and integration security.
- Build reliable integrations with error handling, validation, retries, and monitoring.
- Integrate Workday with external systems using middleware, APIs, and orchestration tools.
- Independently manage development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- 2+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience.
- Strong expertise in Workday REST/SOAP APIs
, including reading and writing data. - Experience manually constructing and troubleshooting API requests and responses.
- Knowledge of XML, Workday security (ISU/ISSG), data structures, and Business Processes
. - Experience building integrations across multiple enterprise platforms using middleware, APIs, or programming languages.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to independently deliver production integrations.
Preferred: Microsoft Power Automate, API-driven architecture, integration monitoring, and Workday Studio.
