We are seeking a Salesforce Tech Lead for a 6-month contract position, remote (EST or CST time zones). This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, managing a team of 3–4 Salesforce developers while driving enterprise implementations in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities- Design and build Health Cloud and Service Cloud solutions for claims inventory workflow optimization
- Integrate with upstream systems via REST, Bulk, and FHIR APIs and event streams (Kafka/MQ)
- Lead delivery activities including story grooming, solution design, code reviews, performance tuning, and CI/CD pipeline management
- Manage team performance and coordinate with global, distributed teams (onshore and offshore)
- Oversee project delivery end to end, ensuring timely and quality outcomes
- Govern compliance frameworks including HIPAA/PHI security, auditability, and role and permission modeling
- Mentor and develop team members while collaborating with Architecture, Product, Security, and Data teams to validate solutions
- Suggest industry design patterns and develop innovative solutions aligned with best practices
- Required
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience leading enterprise implementations
- Health Cloud expertise
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (PD1) Certification
- 5+ years of Salesforce Developer/Admin experience with Salesforce CRM, Apex Language, Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, SOQL, Visual Force Pages, Workflow and Approvals, Dashboards, Custom Objects, Package Installations, Email Templates, Formulas, Validation Rules, and App Exchange
- 8+ years of experience with programming languages:
Apex, Core Java, and Java Script - Salesforce Lightning Web Component development experience
- 5+ years of experience with tools: IDE, Apex Data Loader, and ANT
- Experience building AI agents in Agentforce
- Experience with Agile methodology
- 5+ years of background in health insurance/healthcare (payer/provider, claims intake/routing)
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing development teams; resume must include the number of people led in each role and specific lead responsibilities
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Preferred
- AutoRABIT experience
- SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology experience
