• Ensure safety of every class and teach swim skills following our curriculum
• Build water confidence in students and encourage progress
• Communicate regularly with students and colleagues

• Assist on the pool deck as needed and report to the Deck or Site Supervisor
• Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic attitude throughout the shift

• Compassion for children and adults
• Ability to work in the water for up to 5 hours per shift
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and openness to coaching
• Capacity to focus in a fast‑paced environment
• Commitment to at least 1 year of employment; afternoons and weekends required
