Most popular items include : jasmine rice, canned coconut beverages, coconut milk, ready to cook noodles, mung bean and frozen durian.
As a Class B Truck Driver at our Commerce facility, N.A Trading Company, you will be responsible for safely operating 26ft (or longer) box trucks to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any issues promptly to management.
- Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques, ensuring that cargo is securely stowed as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries courteously.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws, including compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, with no more than 4 points on your license in the last 5 years and no at-fault accidents within the same period.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class B box truck driver.
- Demonstrated knowledge of all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate safe driving skills.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
