OverviewThe Warehouse Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials between the warehouse and various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role involves loading and unloading products, maintaining delivery records, and adhering to safety standards. The Warehouse Driver plays a critical role in supporting the company’s logistical operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient delivery services.
Key Responsibilities- Transport goods and materials between the warehouse and specified destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload products safely, ensuring items are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Inspect delivery vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during transportation and delivery.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and efficient loading processes.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation.
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including packing, labeling, and inventory management.
- On‑time delivery rate.
- Accuracy of deliveries and condition of goods upon arrival.
- Compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Efficiency and accuracy in loading and unloading tasks.
- Customer satisfaction and feedback regarding delivery services.
- Maintenance and inspection records of delivery vehicles.

- Maintaining the safety and integrity of goods during transportation.
- Managing multiple deliveries and meeting tight deadlines.
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Adapting to changes in delivery routes and customer requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving and logistics.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required based on vehicle type.
- Proficiency in operating delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Driving expertise:
Proficient in driving delivery vehicles and ensuring the safe transportation of goods. - Route planning:
Ability to plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness. - Safety compliance:
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards. - Communication:
