Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and required certifications for a night shift position.

• Position is in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Adult critical care patient population
• Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (19:00-07:30)
• Required to work two weekends per month
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Floating details not specified
• Orientation includes completion of online learning modules, which vary in duration by specialty
• Only one holiday request off (RTO) will be approved during the assignment
• Locals are accepted at a local pay rate
• Must provide two recent references for consideration

• Active CA RN license required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU RN experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Must be gone for at least one year to be eligible for return as a traveler
