The Position:
What Will You Do & How Will We Collaborate?

The Social Impact Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting, strengthening, and evolving the programs of the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship. The Coordinator ensures that the Center’s signature experiences (e.g., workshops, partnerships, projects, events, field studies, and student‑driven initiatives) operate smoothly and consistently across both campuses. This role blends program management, relationship‑building, logistics coordination, and mission‑driven educational support. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, equity‑centered, entrepreneurial, and energized by working with students, faculty, families, and external partners to advance a shared vision of social impact.

Some early mornings, evenings, or extended days may be required during peak program seasons. This individual collaborates closely with the Scott Center Director, the Scott Center Program Leads, and Hillbrook faculty to achieve operational success. The Social Impact Programs Coordinator is based on both the Los Gatos and San José campuses, with consistent cross‑campus presence. Some early mornings, evenings, or extended days may be required during peak program seasons.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in a collaborative employee culture that is committed to being at the leading edge of JK‑12th grade education.
  • Report to Director of the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship
  • Coordinate and support Scott Center programming across both campuses, including workshops, excursions, community events, and assemblies.
  • Manage scheduling, communication, and logistics for student programs, Scott Center team operations, faculty collaborations, and partner engagements.
  • Oversee event planning and execution, ensuring high‑quality, mission‑aligned experiences for students and families.
  • Track program resources, materials, and documentation to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Support the collection, archiving, and publishing of student learning artifacts and experiences
  • Track program completion, participation, and requirements to support accurate reporting
  • Support relationships with external community partners, nonprofits, and social impact organizations.
  • Collaborate with Scott Center Program Leads to bring program visions to life
