History and English tutor

English and History tutors wanted! If you're bright, energetic, and eager to meet students in person, we’d love to talk with you! $35-$40/hour, great training, attractive office.

Ideal English and History tutors are passionate about education, experienced in working with students, and team-oriented. We’re looking for college graduates who are conscientious, punctual, reliable, proactive, efficient, and capable of clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2025/26 academic year

• Have a 4 year college degree

Many of our tutors have a background in education. However, successful candidates may instead have experience in coaching, youth leadership, camp counseling, mentoring, or the performing arts.
