We are a growing privately held and physical therapist‑owned practice with locations in Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, Campbell and San Jose, CA. We seek outgoing, fun, friendly, entertaining, and engaging people with integrity for a full‑time Physical Therapist. We offer the privilege of one‑hour evaluations and treatments, competitive salary based upon experience and current referral base, bonus structure, and generous benefit plan including health, dental, and vision care plans, 401(k), clinic‑sponsored continuing education, individual clinical contributor or management leadership tracks, and training toward board certification through the ABPTS.
We require computer and typing skills using an EHR and word processing, 1‑2 years of experience, specialty certification in orthopedics and/or sports, and/or ATC, CSCS credentials.
Requirements- Graduate degree in Physical Therapy
- Highly passionate and experienced skill set in manual therapy
- Experience with sports science technologies, including force plates, handheld dynamometry, and data interpretation to collaborate with RTP decisions
- Experience with therapeutic modalities including electrical muscular stimulation, laser/red light therapy, shockwave therapy, surface EMG, or similar
- State Physical therapy license in California or able to attain
- Current professional CPR certification
- Possess personal professional liability insurance
- 3‑5 years of experience working in the Physical Therapy / Outpatient Orthopedics or Sports Medicine field
- Certified candidates with additional credentials in either Athletic Training (ATC) or a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with focus on return to sport injury cases
- Board certification in Orthopedic (OCS) or Sports (SCS) physical therapy preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management of all physical therapy and rehabilitation‑related issues
- Assess and treat acute injuries
- Provide high‑quality manual therapy and soft tissue treatment where necessary
- Provide high‑quality movement efficiency assessment and corrective exercise programs
- Develop and maintain evidence‑based best‑practice guidelines for the prevention and management of injuries, including assistance with defining return to competition protocols
- Assist with the implementation and integration of rehab programs for patients and athletes
- Ensure appropriate charting and record‑keeping of all medical treatments, injury assessments and injury data in a company EMR system
