This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a strong background in pool equipment repair, installation, and automation systems. The Equipment Repair & Install Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pumps, heaters, filters, control systems, and other pool-related components.

• Inspect and troubleshoot swimming pool equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and repair pool pumps, filters, heaters, and related components.
• Install and maintain automated control systems, chemical automation, and pool lighting.
• Perform programming, calibration, and troubleshooting for automation systems (Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, etc.).
• Execute plumbing work on equipment pads as needed for installations or repairs.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation and efficiency after servicing.
• Recommend upgrades or replacements when repairs are no longer cost‑effective.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining repair options, timelines, and costs.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and work completed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while on‑site.

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in swimming pool equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of pool equipment brands and automation systems.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform plumbing work on pool equipment pads.
• Familiarity with chemical automation systems and safety handling procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing multiple service calls efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor (lifting 50-75 lbs).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or related technical certification preferred.
• $35-$45+ per hour, depending on experience and certification level.

• Full‑Time:
  Monday - Friday

• On‑site, servicing residential and commercial pools within the company's established local territory.
• Daily travel between client locations using a company‑provided vehicle.
