• Staff the wellness center reception desk during operating hours.
• Monitor users and activities within the center.
• Assist PHED adjunct instructors with class preparation.
• Answer general questions from students, staff, and community members accurately, pertaining to wellness center programming, schedules, and guidelines.
• Ensure waivers and other required documentation are completed and submitted for approval by the coordinator, recreational services.
• Conduct orientations for first-time wellness center users.
• Uphold the wellness center environment of care checklist, policies, and procedures.
• Clean the facility and equipment.
• Maintain inventory checks.
• Assist with the development and organization of the annual wellness expo.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures for the wellness center independently.

Equivalencies not found for this position

• American Heart Association first aid, CPR, and AED certification required (provided by the campus)
• This position requires dependable initiative-takers. Good verbal / written skills, and an ability to be flexible, are necessary. A student work-study award is needed. Please check with financial aid.
