Academic Success Coach (ENROLL)
The University of New Mexico-Valencia is currently seeking candidates for the position of Academic Success Coach for our Early, Non-Academic, Revitalize, Outreach, Learning Support and Learning (ENROLL) Program. This position will be dedicated to serving the personal, financial, and transfer needs of students. The Academic Success Coach will provide direct support to students with specific needs to navigate and succeed in higher education.
The Coach will participate in and partner with academic advisement including connecting students to resources and services that support individual success. The Coach will also implement and deliver programs and services that enrich academic experience and address the unique needs of the target population. This is a grant funded-position with current funding through December 2027, to be institutionalized thereafter. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution.
With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student body of over 2,000 students per semester.

Conditions of Employment- All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Bachelor's degree; no previous experience required. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications- At least three years of directly related experience working with rural area students
