Cable Technician in NM

We are looking to fill 1 experienced resource. The client is supporting Meta data center in Los Lunas, NM, about 30 minutes south of Albuquerque. Candidates need cat 5 and 6 cabling experience, able to do punch down and terminate cables, and run precut cable through basket trays. Patch panel and server swapping experience preferred. Fiber optics is a plus. They must know their color codes.

The role involves both inside and outside plant work around a construction site, pulling low voltage wiring. This is a contract‑to‑hire position for 6‑12 months with potential to become full‑time. The client prefers licensed candidates; electricians should highlight cat 5/6 cable‑punch downs and terminations. Green card holders are acceptable.

• Experience with fiber optics (plus)
• Target interviews the week of the 30th; negotiable rates above $25/hr for qualified candidates
• Potential for full‑time employment after 6–12 months

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Los Lunas, NM.

Pay range: $20.00 – $33.00/hr.
