An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the HR & People Hub in the Business Support Services Team within Adults & Communities as a Senior Administrative Assistant based at Bassett Street South Wigston. To support the Hub Manager in delivering the work of a specialist Hub, providing an efficient, effective, and comprehensive business support service across all of Adults & Cultural services.
Have specialist technical knowledge in the work of the Hub they are assigned to and to hold in-depth knowledge of the work of the department and services that their allocated Hub supports.
- NVQ level 2 qualification in a relevant area e.g. Finance or Business Administration or similar appropriate equivalent
- Working with a large range of stakeholders at varying levels
- Understanding the importance of information confidentiality (GDPR)
- A flexible approach and ability to work under pressure against tight timescales
- Experience of using complex and numerous IT software systems
- Ability to take comprehensive minutes and experience of using Microsoft applications to support this
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English; remaining calm and focused when under pressure
- Share and deliver accessible and inclusive services that meet the needs of all residents (understanding of commitments as part of the selection process)
