As a Project Management Apprentice you’ll develop a broad and adaptable skillset - mastering stakeholder engagement governance financial control and risk management. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects that improve processes enhance customer experience and drive innovation across Amazon’s diverse business lines.

Throughout the programme you’ll use recognised quality management frameworks and project methodologies to bring ideas to life all while earning your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Management Apprentice you’ll gain experience working on real projects that have tangible business impact. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams lead planning sessions and support initiatives that make a difference to Amazon’s customers and employees.

Your work will involve coordinating resources managing risks and using data-driven insights to track performance and deliver successful outcomes. Every day brings a new opportunity to innovate simplify and grow your skills as a future project leader.

During Your Apprenticeship You’ll Learn How To:
  • Manage and support projects to achieve defined objectives timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business priorities
  • Identify and mitigate risks applying structured problem-solving techniques
  • Use data and metrics to monitor project progress and report outcomes to stakeholders
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Present project updates using dashboards and reports to communicate impact
  • Apply analytical thinking to evaluate and improve processes
  • Support strategic planning and contribute ideas that drive positive change

Your Development

At Amazon it’s in our nature to learn and be curious. You’ll learn by doing applying new knowledge every day while supported by expert mentors and experienced project professionals.

This 42-month programme starting in September 2026 combines on-the-job learning with structured study time allowing you to work towards your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.

You’ll spend 80% of your time working in your business area and 20% on dedicated learning which may include travel to a training centre depending on your provider’s location.
