• Lead and manage building surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Undertake detailed condition surveys, prepare comprehensive reports, and advise clients on remedial works.
• Oversee tendering, procurement, and the administration of construction contracts.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and schedules of work for refurbishment, maintenance, and new‑build projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering professional advice and fostering strong relationships.
• Mentor junior surveyors, support their professional development, and contribute to team growth.
• Ensure all projects meet statutory requirements, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
• Assist clients with funding applications for school maintenance and capital works projects.

• MRICS/FRICS chartered surveyor status or working towards it.
• Proven experience in building surveying, ideally across education, commercial, or heritage sectors, with strong technical knowledge of building pathology, construction technology, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership qualities and experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff.
