About the Role
Long Term Futures is working with a specialist all-through school in the LE12 area that supports pupils aged 4 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school provides a calm, structured and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and positive routines.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is patient, proactive and ready to get involved in day-to-day school life. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships and helping young people who benefit from consistent support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs
Support emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement in learning
Help create a calm, safe and structured classroom environment
Encourage independence, confidence and social development
Support pupils with routines and transitions throughout the day

Who We're Looking For
We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, including education, care, youth work, mentoring, support work or sports coaching, as long as you have the right approach and are confident supporting young people with additional needs.
