Training Manager

The Contract Flooring Association (CFA) is the UK’s leading trade body for the commercial flooring sector. Training is central to our mission, and we’re now looking for a Training Manager to help coordinate and develop our industry training programmes.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in training, apprenticeships, or skills development who’s ready to step into a broader, externally facing role — with support and room to grow.

• Manage the day-to-day operation of CFA’s training activity (via FITA Training Centre in Loughborough)
• Coordinate apprenticeships and short training programmes
• Work with internal colleagues, external trainers, and member organisations
• Ensure training runs smoothly, professionally, and to a high standard
• This is not a hands‑on training delivery role, it’s about organisation, relationships, and quality.

• Background in training, apprenticeships, or vocational learning
• Well organised, practical, and solutions focused
• Confident working with a range of stakeholders
• Interested in developing your career within a small, supportive organisation
• Sector experience is welcome but not essential. We are happy to train the right person

• £38,000–£42,000 salary (dependent on experience)
