Lift Beacon Primary is a thriving inclusive primary school serving children aged 2–11. The school received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted in 2021 and is an IQM Centre of Excellence, committed to high expectations, inclusion and personal development.
New RoleYou will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, focusing on attendance, behaviour and curriculum. The role is non‑class‑based, but requires a teaching commitment to maintain a strong classroom presence.
Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the school improvement plan
- Lead attendance improvement strategies and targeted interventions
- Support curriculum development and drive high‑quality teaching and learning
- Work closely with families, external agencies and staff to remove barriers to learning
- Promote high expectations, positive behaviour and pupil well‑being
- Support and develop middle leaders and teaching staff
- Contribute to a strong safeguarding and inclusive culture across the school
- Qualified teacher with successful experience in primary education
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and teaching & learning
- Experience leading or supporting whole‑school improvement initiatives
- Clear understanding of attendance strategies and barriers to learning
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, staff and external agencies
- Passion for inclusion, safeguarding and pupil well‑being
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Committed to maintaining high expectations and securing excellent outcomes for all pupils
Experience working within disadvantaged communities or supporting vulnerable pupils would be highly beneficial.
