We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle at Brooksby College, part of the Loughborough College Group. We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable professional to deliver high‑quality teaching across our Motor Vehicle provision, including study programmes and future apprenticeship pathways.
Responsibilities- Planning and delivering lessons that cover a broad range of engineering skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
- Supporting the development of our curriculum, particularly in emerging areas like vehicle electrification and alternative fuels.
- Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve our automotive offering and exceed learner and employer expectations.
- Possesses a degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent).
- Has experience of designing and delivering vocational/academic programmes to learners.
- Able to demonstrate excellent planning, administration & organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a small cross‑curricular team. They will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. Relevant automotive industry experience is essential, and a teaching qualification is desirable. If you’re new to teaching, we’ll support your transition into education with tailored training and mentoring.
