We are seeking a compassionate, proactive and highly organised Attendance Officer to join our Inclusion team for a fixed term 1 year maternity cover
. This key role focuses on improving attendance, strengthening family engagement, and ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing remain central to our attendance strategy. You will work closely with students, families, school staff, external agencies and local authorities to reduce barriers to education and promote positive outcomes.
- Oversee and monitor the attendance and punctuality of all students.
- Ensure all data is accurately recorded and provide daily analysis.
- Provide a wide and varied range of attendance admin support across the Academy.
This fast‑paced but highly rewarding role is ideal for someone looking for experience in a school‑based environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Attendance Welfare Officer, support off‑site visits and provide a comprehensive administrative service, supporting students, staff and parents where appropriate.

- Able to work effectively as part of a team and with a good sense of humour.
- Previous experience in a school office environment would be advantageous but not essential.
