Role Overview
Telford Hall Subwarden – a voluntary subwarden position at Telford Hall, a friendly hall offering residents a “home from home” environment. Open to Loughborough University post‑graduate research students only.
Responsibilities- Assist the Warden, Mark Dabney, in the day‑to‑day running of the hall, including pastoral, disciplinary and administrative duties.
- Participate in social aspects of hall life.
- Provide out‑of‑hours emergency cover for a hall of 520 students to ensure smooth running.
- High level of personal organisational ability.
- Good administrative ability.
- Leadership qualities and a good team player.
- Commitment to the community spirit of the hall.
- Free accommodation during term time (single occupancy only).
- Self‑catering with some meals provided during term time.
- Availability for Subwarden training sessions such as First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
