Progress Tutor in Sport

Job Overview

We are seeking to appoint a Progress Tutor in Sport to join the existing team and support our 16–18-year-old learners to achieve their full potential and progress to their next steps.

• Manage and coach a case load of learners in partnership with curriculum, other progress tutors and staff to ensure learners become independent and progress successfully.
• Deliver inspiring tutorial support to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences.
• Help provide cover within the team, making this a perfect route for candidates wanting to start a career in teaching.

• A relevant degree and vocational experience in an educational setting are essential.
• The ideal candidate will be dynamic, have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and work effectively in a large cross-curricular team.
• Excellent planning and administration skills and the ability to work to deadlines are required.

The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary company of Loughborough College. The terms and conditions of employment offered by The Leicestershire College differ from those of Loughborough College. Employees of The Leicestershire College are based at one of the campuses of the Loughborough College Group.
