Lecturer in Animal Studies

OverviewWe are looking for a Lecturer in Animal Studies with the ability to deliver across the full range of the department's provision. You will deliver courses, embed new technologies, and lead development of programmes while fostering a hands‑on learning environment within an 850‑acre countryside estate.
Responsibilities- Support learners through their programme and achieve specific qualification aims
- Write schemes of work, lesson and review plans
- Deliver flexible education and training across a range of topics
- Ensure completion of portfolios, coursework and all other programme‑related student outputs within the scheduled scheme
- Hold a minimum Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant area
- Possess or be willing to obtain a teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience of designing and delivering vocational or academic programmes
- Effective time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve excellent results
- Previous experience or knowledge of dog grooming is desirable
All applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship and will undergo an enhanced DBS check. The department does not offer skilled‑worker sponsorship for this position.
