Trainer Assessor in Engineering

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and flexible Engineering Trainer Assessor to join our apprenticeship team and support the growth of our Engineering Apprenticeship provision. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineering Trainer Assessor or someone wishing to transition from industry, to work on a full‑time contract carrying out training and assessment duties for apprentices and their employers in college and the workplace.

Carry out training and assessment duties for apprentices and their employers in college and workplace, supporting apprentices to successfully complete their apprenticeship programmes across a range of Engineering standards.

• Competency in the subject area
• An appropriate assessor qualification (for example D32, D33, A1 or TAQA) or willingness to work towards one
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in the subject area
• Experience of working with individuals to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours

The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary company of Loughborough College. Terms and conditions of employment differ from those of Loughborough College and employees are based at one of the campuses of the Loughborough College Group.
