Physics Teacher, Science Teacher, High School
Loughborough Grammar School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Physics to join our thriving and academically successful Science Faculty from November 2026.
The successful candidate will teach Physics across the School, from younger year groups through to the Sixth Form, including GCSE, with the ability to teach to A Level standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Physics specialist to join a well-resourced department within a high-achieving independent school.
We are looking for a teacher who combines excellent subject knowledge with consistently strong classroom practice and who is committed to securing excellent academic outcomes while inspiring pupils to develop a genuine enthusiasm for Physics.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Physics or a related discipline, strong subject knowledge and experience of teaching Physics across a range of ages. They will be an excellent classroom practitioner, able to inspire pupils, maintain high expectations and provide appropriate challenge and support. Experience of practical Physics, A Level teaching, competitive university or STEM applications, or STEM enrichment would be advantageous.
