We are looking for experienced and influential Regional Enrichment Managers to join the Youth Sport Trust and play a key role in the delivery of the Enrichment Expansion Programme (EEP).

As part of the Government's National Youth Strategy, 400 schools have been selected by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Department for Education (DfE) to take part in this ambitious three-year programme.

EEP aims to help more young people access high-quality enrichment opportunities, particularly those facing disadvantage or currently underrepresented in enrichment activities. It will support schools to strengthen their existing provision, develop new opportunities, connect with local partners and embed enrichment as a core part of school culture.

The Youth Sport Trust is working with a range of partners to deliver this programme and provide expertise across the different categories of enrichment experienced by young people within schools. These partners include:

• Council for Learning Outside the Classroom
• EFL in the Community
• Curious Minds
• Enterprise Academy

As a Regional Enrichment Manager, you will lead delivery of EEP across a designated region, working with participating schools, Enrichment Coordinators, host schools and regional partners.

You will build strong relationships, support high-quality programme delivery and help schools identify and overcome barriers to participation. You will monitor progress, share effective practice and connect schools with local expertise, resources and opportunities, developing strong relationships across education, enrichment and community networks.

You will also champion inclusive enrichment and youth voice and act as the programme lead for an agreed area of enrichment, sharing your expertise and learning across the wider programme.

Two of the successful candidates will take on additional responsibilities as Senior Regional Enrichment Managers, providing line management, support and coordination for colleagues within the regional team.

We are looking for people who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery and have significant experience within education, youth development, community engagement, school improvement or a related field.

You will be an excellent relationship builder and influencer, confident working with schools, senior stakeholders and partner organisations, with experience of delivering programmes or projects across multiple schools, organisations or locations.

You will also have significant experience and knowledge of one or more of the following:

• Civic Engagement
• Arts and Culture
• Nature, Outdoors and Adventure
• Sport and Physical Activities
• Life and Future Skills

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates bringing experience from across the wider enrichment landscape, including arts and culture, civic engagement, outdoor and adventure activities and life and future skills, as well as sport and physical activity.

You may currently be working, or have previously worked, in school or education leadership, school improvement, a Multi-Academy Trust, local government, the youth or community sector, a School Sport Partnership or another role involving regional education or community-based networks.

For those interested in the Senior Regional Enrichment Manager roles, you will also bring experience of line managing, supporting and developing colleagues.
