Asbestos Analyst

Location: Loughborough, East MidlandsSalary: £30,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience)Contract: Permanent Full-time

A long-established asbestos consultancy with over 30 years in the industry is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Analyst to support a strong and consistent workload across the East Midlands.

The business has built its reputation on technical standards, long-term client relationships, and properly supporting its site teams. This is a stable role with strong earning potential and realistic expectations.

• £30,000 - £36,000 base salary

• Overtime typically worth £3,900 - £5,760 per year

• Paid travel time outside the standard 40-hour week(typically adding £3,000 - £4,000 annually)

• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Long-term, secure role within an established consultancy

• Structured workload and supportive management

• Undertaking the full range of asbestos analytical duties

• Air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance testing, and four-stage clearances

• Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites

• Supporting survey teams with Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys when required

• Completing bulk sampling where necessary

• Producing clear, accurate, and compliant documentation

• Working in line with HSG
  248 and HSG
  264 at all times

• Acting as a professional point of contact on site

• BOHS P403 & P404 (essential)

• BOHS P402 preferred

• Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience as an Asbestos Analyst

• Strong knowledge of HSG
  248 and HSG
  264

• Confident communicator with strong report-writing ability

• Full UK driving licence
