Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Industrial Emissions Systems, £40,000 -£47,000 | Leicestershire Office with UK Travel

 * £40k–£47k + overtime at time & a third

* 40 hours per week, no weekend working

* Field-based role – approx. 70–80% UK travel / time away from home

* Core focus on installation, with commissioning and service work forming a smaller part of the position.

* Industrial emissions systems (SCR) for marine & industrial applications

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a specialist engineering business in Leicestershire, working on emissions control systems.

This is a hands-on field installation role, working on industrial sites across the UK, installing complete emissions systems used on generators, engines and heavy plant.

What you’ll be doing

* Installing cable tray, unistrut and containment systems

* Running and terminating 24V DC control and instrumentation cabling

* Installing AdBlue pipework (tank to injector systems)

* Mechanical installation of SCR units, panels and tanks

* Supporting commissioning, snagging and fault finding

* Occasional workshop build and preparation work

What we’re looking for

* Background in electrical installation, mechanical fitting or field service engineering

* Experience working on industrial plant, machinery or heavy equipment

* Comfortable with hands-on installation work and site environments

* Able to read basic engineering drawings / install packs

* Happy with regular UK travel and time away from home
