We are recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a long-established and growing engineering business specialising in large-scale steel fabrication projects across major UK infrastructure and commercial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a steel or fabrication background who is looking to join a stable and forward-thinking company that can offer long-term progression, exposure to high-value projects, and a strong work-life balance.

As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for bespoke fabrication projects, while supporting projects from enquiry through to handover.

• Reviewing and pricing incoming enquiries and tender documents
• Preparing detailed quotations and costings
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle
• Supporting project handovers to production and operations teams
• Building strong working relationships with customers and supply chain partners
• Ensuring estimates are commercially competitive and technically accurate

• Previous experience within an Estimator position
• A background within steel fabrication, structural steel, or metalwork
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and detail-focused approach
