Finance Assistant (12-month contract) - Leicester (on-site) - £29,000

Cherry Professional is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join an US owned SME business within the Charnwood area. This is a 12-month contract offering a broad finance/admin remit across purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, and wider operational support.

The role

You'll be supporting the business in covering the maternity leave but also in being part of a system implementation project, possible data reporting tool development.

Essentially, your core duties will be overseeing shipping of products (including customs compliance adminstration) and supporting the Finance Manager with accounts adminsitration, namley Purchase and Sales Ledger We're looking for experience in both areas, with primary importance being on shipping. You will also need to be adept with knowing your way around a spreadsheet, able to produce reports and have a keen interest in business systems.

Your accounts knowledge, although secondary, will need to be at a foundation level (you've had exposure to "purchase ledger" and/or basic "Bookkeeping").Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
