Location: Burton on the Wolds

Finance Partner – Loughborough

Finance Partner in the Trust’s central finance team, located in Loughborough, will support non‑finance colleagues by delivering financial insight, strategic guidance and decision‑making support across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial insight and strategic guidance to leaders and decision‑makers.
  • Challenge spend and investment decisions to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and drive value for money.
  • Support long‑term financial sustainability for the Trust.
  • Focus on Estates & Facilities and IT teams.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, including capital costs, and communicate cost drivers and variance explanations.
  • Assess value for money, recommend improvements, and support financial aspects of business cases for expenditure and operational decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders, build trusted relationships and communicate financial matters clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Finance Partner (essential).
  • Experience assessing processes and controls with consideration of risks.
  • Experience supporting commercial financial decisions.
  • Experience with month‑end and year‑end close process.
  • Ability to present financial information in a clear, easy‑to‑understand format.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and procedures.
