Job Description & How to Apply Below

A well-established and highly respected manufacturing business is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in a hands-on, varied role that sits at the heart of operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and being actively involved with production, warehousing and wider operational teams.

The Role

The business is seeking an individual with strong end-to-end supply chain experience gained within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a smaller or medium-sized organisation where exposure to the full supply chain lifecycle has been part of the role. There is also a genuine long-term opportunity for progression, with the current Supply Chain Manager openly considering retirement within the next three years, creating a clear succession opportunity for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating day-to-day supply chain activities to ensure continuity of materials and operational efficiency
  • Working closely with Production and Warehouse teams to support material availability and resolve supply-related challenges
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support informed operational decision-making
  • Supporting purchasing, inventory control, supplier coordination and supply planning activities
  • Monitoring stock levels and helping maintain optimum inventory to support customer and production demands
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure service levels and operational requirements are met
Key Requirements
  • Previous Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Experience across the full supply chain lifecycle, ideally gained within an SME or smaller operational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging with stakeholders across Production, Warehouse and Operations teams
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety within a manufacturing setting
  • A Supply Chain qualification (or working towards one) would be highly advantageous; equivalent significant experience will also be considered
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Package & Benefits
  • Salary up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • 3% annual bonus based on individual and company performance
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays - rising to 28 days with service
  • 5% employer contribution following probation
  • Company-paid private healthcare and health cash plan following probation
