Are you organised, detail‑oriented, and enjoy streamlining processes? As an Assistant Buyer you’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient order management across our sites and ERP systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, family‑owned business that’s growing ’ll manage day‑to‑day material and plant orders in a fast‑paced, reactive environment, build supplier relationships, drive cost‑reducing activities, and support continuous improvement across the business.

Danaher and Walsh is a reputable Civil Engineering business specialising in infrastructure, public projects and utilities, operating primarily across the central parts of England. This role comes with genuine self‑sufficiency and real scope to grow and develop as the company expands. • Raise and issue material and plant orders based on specifications
• Assist with the Lean procurement process
• Work within a team and support other departments
• Maintain and build new supplier relationships
• Identify and deliver cost‑saving opportunities

• Previous buying/procurement experience
• Background in Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Civils or Infrastructure
• Proficient in Microsoft packages
• Strong phone manner
• Ability to prioritise effectively
