Head of CoMan Operations

Overview

This is a brand new role at Refresco, reporting directly to the UK Supply Chain Director and leading a team of Central Coman Operations Managers. You’ll shape the team’s capability, culture and performance from the ground up, making this a rare chance to build something meaningful and influential. You’ll drive end-to-end efficiency across the Refresco Coman customer supply chain, leading improvement plans that unlock growth, strengthen customer partnerships and showcase true supply chain excellence.

Head of Co Man Operations — Permanent — Kegworth, Head Office — 38 hours — Reward & Benefits

• Optimise and manage end-to-end supply chain processes to deliver agreed customer service levels and drive operational efficiency across the Refresco–customer network.
• Lead the Perfect Planning initiative within Coman Operations, coaching the team to manage capacity peaks and troughs, reduce labour costs, and maintain service performance.
• Own the daily KPI tracker, ensuring accountability, refining metrics, and driving departmental performance aligned with business profitability.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with Coman customers and demonstrate measurable operational improvements with the top three accounts.
• Produce Supply Plans for Budget, while investigating shortages, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team in line with Refresco values and leadership behaviours, while actively managing risks such as material obsolescence and maintaining strong relationships with site scheduling and operational teams.

A candidate with strong customer-facing supply chain relationship experience, confident working directly with customers to solve problems and drive performance. You’ll bring creative, practical problem solving skills and thrive in fast-paced environments. FMCG experience is preferred (or similar high-volume sectors). You must also have solid people management experience, able to lead, coach, and develop a team while building effective cross-functional relationships.
