- Maternity Cover - 12m Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Head of Finance Partnering to join us on a maternity-cover basis, leading a team of three and overseeing Swim England's core finance-partnering activity.
You will lead budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and financial reporting, working closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders to improve financial understanding, accountability and decision-making.
A key priority will be helping to embed Oracle Net Suite, improving reporting and identifying opportunities to streamline our month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage and develop a team of three Finance Partners.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and month-end.
- Provide financial insight, guidance and constructive challenge to budget holders.
- Support the Finance Director with financial modelling, analysis and reporting.
- Oversee financial reporting for externally funded programmes.
- Help embed Oracle Net Suite and support the adoption of new processes.
- Improve financial reporting, controls and ways of working.
- Significant management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Proven experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and senior managers.
- Confidence managing, supervising or developing finance colleagues.
- Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or substantial equivalent experience.
- Experience using Oracle Net Suite or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience with in a grant-funded, charitable, public-sector or sporting organisation.
- Experience supporting externally funded programmes and improving finance processes.
