Assembly Operative

Location: Shepshed

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for Assembly Operative’s to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a small friendly team that offers training. If you have an interest in fixing things, completing DIY or putting things together then this could be the perfect role for you as the Client offers on the job training.

Assembly Operative Job Details;

 * £12.80 per hour

* Paid overtime available once trained at a premium rate of £19.20 per hour

* Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm

* 40 hour working week

* Annual bonus scheme

* 21 days holiday + bank holiday when permanent

Assembly Operative Role &

Responsibilities include;

* Assembly of electrical motors

* Steel fabrication assembly of motor cores.

* Electrical connection and testing of internal circuits.

* Packing products and working in the goods out department

* Use of various hand tools

* Supporting all departments within their daily tasks, including but not restricted to, Assembly, fabrication, testing, coil winding, CNC machine operating and warehouse tasks.

* Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and adherence to deadlines.

Person Specification;

* Previous electrical / assembly experience or working in a production environment is preferred but not essential

* Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product

* Good dexterity.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (Training will be provided)

* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

* Ability to work as part of a team.
