Metal Fabricator (Progression To Estimator)

£45,000-£50,000 + progression, early Friday finish, training, 28 days holiday, company bonus.

Loughborough.

We are a market‑leading company offering full tailored training on the estimation of large steel infrastructure projects, with progression to senior estimating positions.

• Prepare quotations for allocated enquiries.
• Time‑allocate estimating for large‑scale bespoke projects for high‑profile clients such as the National Grid.
• Coordinate with clients and supply chains to ensure smooth project continuation.
• Organise handovers to the production team for project completion.
• Work Monday–Thursday 7:45 am–4:45 pm and Friday 7:45 am–2:15 pm.

• Current Metal Fabricator or equivalent experience.
• Desire to progress to an Estimator role.
• Strong technical knowledge of welding/fabrication, MIG, TIG, sheet metal.
• Ability to plan, schedule and operate within a team environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
