- Carry out shot blasting on mild steel and stainless to remove rust, old coatings, and surface contaminants.
- Prepare products for painting and coating, ensuring surfaces are properly cleaned and profiled.
- Work with a range of materials, including stainless steel, mild steel.
- Operate blast pots, air compressors, and other blasting equipment efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Work towards production targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in shot blasting within a commercial manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and materials.
- Ability to handle and operate blasting equipment safely.
- Experience working with industrial coatings is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- FLT license would be advantageous
- Dayshift:
Monday - Friday, 07:30 AM - 4: PM - Pay Rate:
Dependant on experience. - Overtime available at enhanced rates.
