Job Title: General Operative

Location: Loughborough

Salary: 14.73 - 16.65 per hour

Shift Patterns:

• 2pm - 10pm (Monday - Friday)
• 10pm - 6am (Sunday-Thursday)

The Company:

A well-established company operating within the engineering and manufacturing sector, recognized for its commitment to quality, technical precision, and customer-focused project delivery.

The General Operative Role:

Due to continued growth and the expansion of key contracts, the company is looking to recruit General Operatives to support operations across day, afternoon and night shifts.

Duties will include:

• Moving heavy materials throughout the production area
• Loading and unloading parts
• Assembly and production support work
• Basic metalwork duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assisting with general warehouse and manufacturing tasks
• Any other duties as required

About You:

• Comfortable undertaking heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
• Keen to learn new skills and undertake training
• Previous manufacturing, labouring, warehouse, or production experience is advantageous but not essential
• Able to commute to the Loughborough area
