Pay Rate:£14.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Waste Management Operative to join a busy waste management team supporting Leicestershire County Council.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an experienced plant operator or someone looking to develop their skills within the waste and recycling industry. You'll play a key role in ensuring waste management sites operate safely, efficiently and in line with environmental and health & safety standards.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll operate a loading shovel and other plant machinery while helping to maximise recycling, maintain site operations and deliver excellent customer service.

As a Waste Management Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating a loading shovel to move, manage and bulk waste materials.
• Operating additional plant and equipment including telehandlers (when trained and authorised), balers and other waste processing machinery.
