Production Operative

Location: Syston
Pay: £13.61 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm Rotating
Job Type: Temporary ongoing

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and physically fit Production Operatives to join the team at Syston.

This is a hands-on role where you will be working as part of a busy production team. Full training will be provided, so previous manufacturing experience is useful but not essential.

What you'll be doing:

• Operating production machinery after training
• Packing and boxing products
• Checking products to make sure they meet quality standards
• Completing basic production and quality paperwork
• Moving materials using manual pallet trucks
• Keeping the production area clean, tidy and safe
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Supporting different areas of production when required
• Using a computer system to record basic production and stock information

Previous manufacturing or production experience is an advantage, but not essential.

A forklift licence or previous forklift experience would also be an advantage but is not essential.
