Production Operative
Location:
Kegworth, Derby
Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour basic | £19.92 per hour overtime
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off - must be able to work both days and night
Shift Times- Days: 6:00am - 6:00pm
- Nights: 6:00pm - 6:00am
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kegworth, Derby.
Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential for this position.
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:- Operating standard production machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Recording quality checks and reporting any issues
- Packing, labelling, and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Following instructions and maintaining high standards throughout the production process
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- Be able to work 12-hour shifts on a 3 on / 3 off rotation
- Be flexible and comfortable working both days and nights
- Have good attention to detail and be able to work at pace
- Be reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
Be comfortable standing for long periods - Have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively as part of a team
- £14.61 per hour basic rate
- £19.92 per hour overtime rate
- Consistent 3 on / 3 off shift pattern
